  • This is the bread and butter of how we practice. MK Counseling and Wellness deeply believes in the mind+ body connection + education as incredibly healing.

    Therapists here use sensorimotor interventions to address both physical and psychological symptoms of stress, trauma, grief & anxiety.

  • Our certified yoga instructor and therapist is convinced that the body has a well of wisdom to share if we are attuned to listen.

    She use yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation, and guided imagery to improve mental and physical health.

    This holistic focus encourages the integration of your mind, body, and spirit through awareness and befriending our experience.

  • In such a fast paced culture, living in the moment is often easier said than done. Where does one even start?

    Our therapists use DBT to teach you how to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate your emotions, and improve your relationships with others.

    DBT is a high accountability, heavy skills based approach that can take up to 6 months to implement.

  • Have you ever experienced an internal conflict between what you want to do, what you should do, and what others think you should do? We bet most of us have.

    IFS is a helpful tool to understand the complexity of human emotion.

    While working with our therapists, you will become curious about the different parts of yourself that cause internal struggles and work towards acceptance. IFS therapy can help with general life stressors like relationship, career issues, and improve resilience and self-esteem.
